Yeah I know, you need to have things to dream about. But I know for sure that I’ve plenty of things to dream about, so just get me one of these, NOW!
I now got an awesome setup already, but I want to move those APC’s into a CUE, FX and SAMPLE dedicated setup, to have awesome options to play with a functions of Traktor Pro 2 (T2!), without shifting through modes etc.

Midi Fighter from DJ Techtools with midi notes
Okay here we go, although this ain’t no rocket science, nobody will be saved and I won’t win any Nobel-prices, still this is so useful! Everybody would (should!) remember my posting about my Midifighter which is an awesome toy from DJ Techtools (know as DJTT:)). And as I did some remapping and copying of the Midifighter behaviour and ported its behaviour to the APC controllers from AKAI, people asked me to share those notes with them. Of course you can find out them yourself, but why don’t just steal them from me now, I don’t care;)

Next beta version APC40 Midi Mapping for Traktor Pro
20I justed posted that other movie including the TSI, but I’ve already got a new version of this TSI for Traktor Pro (for your APC40). Wen I posted the previous TSI, that one was already outdated but I still had some work to do before publishing the new one.
Check out this short movie to get an impression of what you can do with this TSI already:
Most important is that you turn on 4 FX units and set 1 and 2 to chained, and the other units 3 and 4 to advanced. The rest will be selected automatically. Also set your APC40 to dumb mode or else it won’t work well! This TSI is still not a final version as many buttons and knobs still needs to be mapped, but a lot of fun can already be archieved by playing with this TSI. Note that I have a Reloop Digital Jockey II on the side so I didn’t map EQ buttons for example, but there is still room enough to map this yourself!
